Dr. De Freitas was born and raised in Venezuela. She graduated from Santa Maria University in 2015. She received her Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, where she earned the Clinical Excellence award for two consecutive years.
Dr. De Freitas’s passion is oral surgery combined with dental aesthetics as a way to impact patient’s life through their smile, bringing back their confidence and self-esteem. She enjoys dentistry from the simplest procedures to the most challenging ones; combining the best dental materials and technologies in order to achieve great results. In addition, she is a certified Invisalign™ provider.
She is is married, mother of two beautiful daughters and speaks 3 languages (Spanish, English and Portuguese). She loves to make memories; “small moments last forever” is something you will often hear from her. She loves animals and appreciates glorious sunsets. That’s one of the reasons she moved with her family to the west coast of Florida.
Dr. De Freitas’ goal is to give all of her patients the beautiful and healthy smile they dream of and to provide them with the knowledge necessary to maintain that smile for a lifetime. Her meticulous attention to detail and artistic approach allows her to thrive in providing beautiful and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Jay Froug is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry. His studies at LVI have included: Advanced Functional Aesthetic Dentistry, Practical Occlusion Mastery, and Mastering Neuromuscular Occlusion.
He has been practicing dentistry in Florida since 1985. Due to staining from tetracycline, Dr. Froug has had his own smile restored with 26 veneers. He has taken continuing education courses on dental implants and is able to place dental implants as well as restore them.
His caring nature and dedication to gentle dentistry are a hallmark of his practice. Dr. Froug has four children.
